Gezer Regional Council plans to build a new community center for senior citizens, using an existing structure to preserve land use in line with the council's sustainable worldview.
The project will provide various cultural, leisure, and sports activities for the council's senior audience. All council residents will enjoy daily programs, workshops, and social events suitable for the country's atmosphere and the open air.
A small café and landscaping will connect the community boardwalk to the new project alongside the Gezer River.
The design of the building is inspired by the Israeli countryside, using terracotta and coarse plaster materials. These materials have been modified and incorporated in an elegant and contemporary manner, considering the residents' experience in the planned area.
